up and running with autodesk advance steel 2019

Onscreen you may notice a tiny exclamation point with a yellow background. If anyone else tries to do what I've attempted (install Advance 2018 without first uninstalling ACAD 2018) without being informed of this new process, pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION during the beginning of the actual installation of AS/ACAD. It would appear that AutoCAD 2018 has been installed correctly after again installing the bundle of both programs (haven't tried running it yet, but looks like all the files are there) and we'll see shortly how Advance 2018 is behaving and whether I now have to do two (2) separate migrations/configurations to get both applications customized to my liking without too many further headaches. So now, I have uninstalled ACAD 2018 to try once again to get both it AND Advance 2018 up and running. To be clear, I already had AutoCAD 2017 and Advance Steel 2017 installed. I was then told that Advance & ACAD 2018 were now bundled together, so that it has now become necessary (if I understand this correctly) to uninstall ACAD 2018 before attempting to install Advance 2018. Many of the folders and contents of same required to successfully run Advance were missing and nothing worked properly. Then I heard that Advance Steel 2018 was available, so I tried twice to install it, unsuccessfully as it turned out. So I had it all configured/migrated and working successfully for 3-4 weeks.

I had recently installed AutoCAD 2018 to keep up to date. I think Autodesk has really created a minefield this time.
